Of the white wines, Chenin Colombard from Monte Xanic is one of my favorites because is clean and crystal clear, with a greenish hue and yellow lime. It is a sweet wine with a fresh acidity and light alcohol.

The Marqués de Riscal white, of Verdejo grape, is a bright wine, yellow straw, refreshing and balanced, which has won many awards.

The Monopole of CVNE is elaborated from the year 1915. It is serving its 100 years of existence. It is a young, dry, fresh and fruity wine that stands out for its pleasant and intense scent featuring fruits such as white currant, Green Apple, pear and pineapple and banana notes.

Among the rose I recommend the rose of Silos, born of vines that reach up to age 75, with a vivacity and a fragrance that stand out by themselves. Its appearance is clean and bright with intense aromas of wild berries.
Among the red wines Luis Cañas Crianza, Rioja wine that is made from the Tempranillo (95%) and Garnacha (5%) stands out for its quality/price ratio.

The grapes used for Luis Cañas Crianza comes from vineyards of an average of 30 years of age.

Red wine La Vieille Ferme is a wine that seems modest but which has very good balance between its components. A well-made wine, without pretense, but of excellent invoice; both Robert Parker as Wine Spectator or Decanter, have classified it with an averages of 88 points for more than twenty years. Unanimously recognized as one of the best relationships of money-quality that exists in the world!

The Mouton-Cadet was born in 1932, when baron Philippe de Rothschild decided that the harvest of that year had no standards of Mouton Rothschild. He created the mark Mouton Cadet as a second wine of the House, a good lowcost Bordeaux wine.
I believe that with these suggestions you can take good wine at this Christmas time, without spending a lot of money… cheers!
